Job Full Description
Our client in East Freetown is hiring a Machine Maintenance Technician/Senior Machine Maintenance Technician to support plant operation and productivity through effective preventive maintenance and equipment repair. The Machine Maintenance Technician will perform routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, servicing and repairs for all facility equipment. Senior position available depending on experience.
Hours: Full time, Day Shift
Pay Rate: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
Machine Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement all maintenance procedures and operations, including machine disassembly, reassembly, troubleshooting, repairs, and parts replacement
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance, coordinate with manufacturing to minimize downtime and maintain production
- Record and document all completed maintenance, modifications, and repairs
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts
- Other duties as required
Machine Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- 3-5 years of related work in an industrial environment in a mechanical or related position
- High School Diploma required, related degree from a vocational school/college preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to read and interpret documents such as electrical drawings, schematics, operations manual, and written directions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Must have basic math and computer skills
