Job Full Description
One of our clients in East Freetown, MA has an IMMEDIATE need for 2 Quality Control Technicians. The Quality Control Technician will work both independently and with a team to inspect various incoming and manufactured materials and assist with the overall quality control process.
Hours: Full time, 1 position each for two different shifts: Monday-Thursday 5am-3pm with OT on Friday OR Thursday 10am-3pm and Friday-Sunday 5am to 5pm
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Quality Control Technician responsibilities include:
- Inspect incoming and manufactured subassemblies
- Perform finished good audits on manufactured product and process audits on manufacturing lines
- Analyze returned products to determine root cause of defects, documenting details
- Generate Corrective Action Reports (CAR’s)
- Conduct basic root cause analysis
- Monitor production lines for CTS/CTF points and proper assignment of operators
- Assist with countermeasures when a quality issue is discovered, and provide feedback to production operators
- Maintain an organized electronic filing system
- Assure tools and equipment are calibrated
Quality Control Technician requirements include:
- Prior experience with manufacturing quality inspection
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality processes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings/schematics
- Ability to use basic quality control tools and equipment
