Our client, a housing management company, is looking for a Resident Coordinator to join their team in Needham!
The main objective of this role is to design, coordinate, and manage a range of programs aimed at promoting resident/tenant self-sufficiency
Schedule: Monday- Friday
Pay: $35.00 per hour
Responsibilities of the Resident Coordinator:
- Develops and manages programs for Resident Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) family and homeownership grants
- Conducts interviews with tenants to assess personal, financial, employment, housing needs, and any physical or mental impairments
- Ensures accurate data entry and case notes for new and existing clients; updates grant information as required and reports inconsistencies to the Executive Director
- Assesses participants' financial literacy and helps determine steps toward self-sufficiency, including eligibility for homeownership counseling and resources
- Reaches out to residents, schedules in-home meetings, and educates families with children on early childhood learning and development; makes referrals as needed
- Supports residents in changing attitudes and behaviors by helping them better understand themselves and their personal challenges
- Builds relationships with housing professionals and service providers to stay informed on available services
- Refers residents to relevant services and community resources, providing ongoing support for their journey to self-sufficiency
