Industrial Washer
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Industrial Washer. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate industrial washing machines to clean various items according to established standards and procedures. The ideal candidate should possess attention to detail, be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize safety at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial washing machines to clean a variety of items, such as linens, garments, equipment parts, or other materials.
- Load and unload items into washing machines, ensuring proper arrangement to maximize cleaning efficiency.
- Select appropriate wash cycles, water temperatures, and cleaning agents based on item specifications and cleanliness requirements.
- Monitor washing machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and adjust settings as needed.
- Inspect cleaned items for stains, damage, or other imperfections and rewash if necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance on washing machines, including cleaning and lubricating parts, to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the washing area, including disposing of waste and keeping work surfaces clean.
- Keep accurate records of items washed, including quantities, types, and any issues encountered during the cleaning process.
