Material Technician – C Shift
A manufacturing company in Saline is seeking an industrial maintenance Tech on C Shift. This is a DIRECT HIRE position.
Experience needed to succeed as a Material Technician
- 3 years of experience in the injection molding industry with demonstrated expertise in material handling and a solid understanding of raw materials, including resins
- High School Diploma or equivalent
What you’ll be doing as a Material Technician
- Prepare and load resins prior to production start and ensure timely material availability
- Handle material changeovers, including emptying and cleaning dryers, hoppers, molds, and machinery
- Remove and properly dispose of running scrap in accordance with company procedures
- Monitor and respond to material-related alarms, resolving issues to minimize downtime
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport resins and supplies safely
