Receiving Inspector - Short Term
A global supplier in Saline, MI is looking for a Receiving Inspector to join their team. This is a SHORT-TERM project.
Experience needed to succeed as a Receiving Inspector
- 1–2+ years of experience receiving goods in a shipping department
- Proficient in using ERP shipping software and performing visual inspections of parts
- High School or equivalent
What you’ll be doing as a Receiving Inspector
- Receive goods from vendors, verify shipment accuracy, and scan items into inventory system
- Inspect incoming goods for defects or damage to ensure quality standards
- Sort and distribute received goods to appropriate departments
- Complete all required documentation and customer paperwork accurately
- Assist with loading trucks for the transport of goods to other facilities
