Job Full Description
A local Marshall company is searching for Screw Machine Operators. This company has been in business for over 20 years, offering quality brass fittings across different markets. The operator is responsible for running multi spindle ACME and New Britain screw machines. In this position, the operator with set up and run machines, read blueprints, and use calipers and micrometers to check parts. This is a physically demanding job that requires standing for long periods of time, bending, twisting, and lifting 50-100 lbs. While screw machine experience is preferred, this company is willing to train the right candidate.
Location: Marshall, MI
Position Type: Evaluation Hire, Full Time
Pay: $16-$25 per hour
Schedule: 1st 6:00am - 4:00pm shifts, Mon. - Thurs.
Night shift: 8pm - 6am M-Th
Qualifications: Candidates need to have at least two years of previous work experience in a machine operator position in a manufacturing setting. Screw machine experience is preferred, but not required. Will train for this position!
