Job Full Description
Efficiency Production in Mason is searching for an Industrial Painter! This company is an industry leader in shoring boxes. They provide equipment to keep construction teams safe around the world. As an Industrial Painter you'll prepare, coat and finish metal and/or other surfaces by operating conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of services. May be required to operate an overhead crane.
Location: Mason, MI
Position Type: Evaluation Hire, Full Time
Pay: $17 per hour
Schedule: 1st shift, 6am - 2:30pm
Job Duties
- Prepare materials, surfaces and structures for coverage with paint, laminate rubber or other material
- Operate conventional and airless equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of surfaces
- Mix and apply alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies and water borne paint systems according to a prescribed formula
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Follow all safety rules and practices
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience (can be waived for the right person)
- Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment in that area
- Ability to perform all essential functions safety and efficiently
- Regular and predictable attendance
