A local apartment community is searching for an Apartment Maintenance Technician!
The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and some cleaning of an apartment complex. Duties for this position may include completing maintenance requests such as changing electrical outlets, installing garbage disposals, replacing toilets, unit turns, drywall patching and/ or replacement, and other duties as assigned. Physical requirements include standing for long periods of time, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Location: Battle Creek, MI
Position Type: Evaluation Hire, Full Time
Pay: $17 - $20 per hour depending on skills and experience
Schedule: 1st, 8:30am-5pm M-F, will need to be available to be on-call for after hours maintenance emergencies
Qualifications: Candidates need to have 1 year + of apartment/residential maintenance experience. Clean background is required for insurance purposes.
