Job Full Description
A local apartment complex is looking to hire a Leasing Specialist!
Job duties may include:
- Meeting with tenants: Show potential renters the available units and discuss lease options
- Preparing documents: Create lease documents that meet property standards and regulations
- Background checks: Perform background and credit checks to ensure prospective tenants are qualified
- Collecting payments: Collect rent, security deposits, and application fees
- Communicating with tenants: Keep residents informed of changes to rental agreements or upcoming issues
- Building relationships: Build rapport with current tenants and provide personalized service
- Responding to inquiries: Respond to tenant inquiries and complaints
- Keeping records: Keep records of rental activit
- Advertising: Promote the property through online listings, signage, and open houses
- Other duties as required
Qualifications: Previous leasing experience preferred
Location: Battle Creek, MI
Position Type: Evaluation to hire, Full Time
Pay: $17-$20/hr
Schedule: 8:30am-5pm M-F
