Express Employment is looking for an Inventory Analyst for their client in Novi, MI. This is a full time, long term opportunity with an OEM supplier that provides unique solutions for multiple industries.
Inventory Analyst Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels across various locations, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory. Manage the consigned goods and ensure precise tracking and documentation.
- Conduct regular analysis of inventory data, including turnover rates, stock levels, and demand trends, to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data and market trends to guide purchasing and inventory replenishment.
- Prepare and present regular inventory reports and metrics to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations for action.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, efficiency, and overall performance.
- Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and audits to ensure data accuracy, particularly focusing on consigned goods, and address discrepancies in a timely manner.
Inventory Analyst Responsibilities Qualifications:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, analysis, or related fields, with specific experience managing consigned goods preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.), along with advanced Excel skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with demand planning and forecasting methodologies.
- Familiarity with lean inventory practices and supply chain optimization.
