Water Jet Operator Job Summary:
A reputable company in Walker, MI is seeking a Water Jet Operator to work on their 2nd shift. This role offers opportunities for additional training, growth, and development.
Waterjet Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate waterjet cutting machines to produce parts to specification
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards
- Load and secure materials onto the cutting bed, aligning and adjusting equipment as necessary
- Monitor the cutting process to prevent errors and ensure continuous operation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols
Schedule & Pay:
- Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1am, with OT on Fridays as required
- Pay: $18/HR
Waterjet Operator Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience required
- Previous experience as a waterjet operator or in a similar role is required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with waterjet
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift and move materials, following safety guidelines
