Machine Operator - Sandblaster Job Summary: We are looking to hire a sandblaster for a privately held manufacturing company and a world-class supplier of vehicle armor survivability solutions, composite structures, and commercial solutions located in Walker, MI. Machine Operator - Sandblaster Requirements:
- Work with metal parts and sandblast metal parts to assure that they are smooth and free of defects
- Adhere to all safety rules, regulations and SOPs in production environment.
- Using sandblasting equipment to remove paint, dirt and setting up the sand, frit or other abrasive material into the machine.
Schedule & Pay:
- 3:00pm-1am Monday – Thursday with Friday overtime as needed to meet business demands
- $18.00/HR
Machine Operator - Sandblaster Qualifications:
- Maintain clean, neat and orderly work area in accordance with 5s regulations
- Maintain a team environment
- Able to work at a fast pace
- Ability to perform standing work frequently and movement throughout the facility
- Frequently lift and/or push up to 50lbs
- Excellent vision and able to see color, distance and up close
- Occasional bending, squatting and stooping
- Experience in sandblasting is preferred and an eye for detail
