5 Axis CNC Operator Job Summary: A furniture company in the Kentwood area is looking for a 5 Axis CNC Operator to join their team. This is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Veteran/Disability Employer
5 Axis CNC Operator Requirements:
- Working with wood furniture products
- Loading/unloading parts into CNC machines and presses
- Inspecting parts
- Sanding
- Gluing materials together
- Performing general preventative maintenance
- Filling out all production paperwork
- Following written instructions
- Completing paperwork accurately
- Performing job set-ups as needed and pursue training opportunities which further job skills
- Willing to help in other areas as needed
Schedule & Pay:
- 2nd shift Monday – Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am with overtime on Friday and Saturday as needed
- $17.50/HR
5 Axis CNC Operator Qualifications:
- Previous machine operating experience preferred but willing to train
- Mechanically inclined
- Good understanding of quality control principles
- Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
- Ability to stand for duration of the shift
- Ability to occasionally walk, bend, crouch, kneel as needed
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work with a variety of tools
- History of excellent attendance and punctuality
- Team player
- Excellent math, measuring and manual dexterity
