Job Full Description
Receiving Associate Summary: A state-of-the-art brass hardware company with a 130-year-plus history is looking for a Receiving Associate to join its growing team.
Receiving Associate Responsibilities:
- Unstack and restack pallets of boxes
- Unload trucks
- Break down truckloads
- Check-in inventory
- Cross-training to help Shipping Associates
- Work in a fast-paced environment, staying calm under pressure and ensuring all incoming shipments are received before end of day
- Drive a stand-up forklift to move inbound shipments
Schedule & Pay:
- 8am-4pm and overtime is required as needed
- $17.00/HR
Receiving Associate Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation with flexibility for occasional late hours when freight pickup is delayed
- Previous warehouse experience is required
- Stand-up forklift experience or willingness to learn
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for an entire shift
- Bending, twisting and lifting repeatedly
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude and punctuality are essential
- Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
