Production Team Leader Job Summary
A furniture manufacturer is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to ensure flawless products, lead teams with precision, and oversee assembly, warehouse, and purchasing operations to achieve excellence and meet production goals.
Production Team Leader Requirements
- Ensure all products exiting the assembly line meet the highest standards of quality and are fully prepared for customer delivery.
- Lead by example, emphasizing precision, team engagement, and continuous improvement in assembly processes.
- Drive production goals and maintain a focus on achieving exceptional outcomes.
- Perform a combination of tasks, including assembly operations, warehouse management, purchasing activities, and computer-based work.
- Uphold the company's commitment to excellence in all aspects of the production process.
Production Team Leader Qualifications
- Proven leadership and team management skills to guide and motivate teams effectively.
- Strong technical knowledge relevant to production and assembly processes.
- Excellent communication skills for clear and effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong decision-making abilities and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Commitment to safety and quality, ensuring standards are met consistently.
- Analytical and organizational skills to streamline processes and achieve goals.
- High emotional intelligence to foster collaboration and resolve workplace challenges.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles for continuous improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience in QuickBooks for managing financial and operational records.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50lbs frequently
Schedule and Pay
Monday – Friday 5am – 1:30pm, some overtime required
$25-$27/hour depending on experience
