Assembly Technician Job Summary: A company that makes equipment used in the medical field is looking for a team orientated individual to join their dynamic team. This company is a family owned and operated company that offers an outstanding benefits package along with many other perks.

Assembly Technician Responsibilities.

  • Package, label, and move completed equipment to the appropriate shipment area.
  • Build and assemble crates for shipment of Boom products according to work instructions, quality standards and product needs.   
  • Perform cycle counts, process returns, and provide backup for Material Specialists
    during absences and periods of high demand, as deemed necessary by the
    Production Manager or Director of Operations.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for project completion in an accurate and thorough manner.
  • Receive crates returned by customers (RMA Process) into IFS. Put away returned
    crates in an organized, safe manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, in accordance to task sheet.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and events.
  • Cross train in other areas of the warehouse, demonstrating a willingness to help additional work areas.

Schedule & Pay:

  • 1st shift 7:00am – 4:00pm Monday-Friday; overtime could be extended to 6:00pm and rarely some Saturdays
  • $17.00/HR

 Assembly Technician Qualifications:

  • Capably handle required administrative functions and ERP administration 
  • Verify work to ensure accurate results, requiring minimal rework.
  • Follow work instructions, procedures, safety guidelines and company policies.
  • Meet productivity standards.
  • Basic understanding and experience with hand tools and power tools required.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of material handling experience.
  • Exerting up to 100lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 50lbs of force frequently, and/or up to
    20lbs of force constantly to move objects.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with ambition to further education or training
    relevant to job demands.
  • Ability to attain Hilo, picker and lift license
  • Have previous experience with light mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics..
  • Listens to others, expressing ideas and providing relevant information to
    management and co-workers. Makes a conscious effort to give explicit
    instructions or answers; seeks understanding; encourages feedback. Maintains
    good relationships, gets along with fellow employees, respects the rights of other
    employees and shows a cooperative spirit.
