Apartment Maintenance Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician for a growing property management group in Comstock Park, MI. This role is responsible for ensuring the property’s buildings, grounds, and equipment are well-maintained and in excellent working order. The ideal candidate is experienced in general repairs, preventative maintenance, and responding to tenant service requests efficiently and professionally.
Apartment Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing fixtures, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems
- Complete service requests from tenants promptly and effectively
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize unexpected breakdowns
- Maintain inventory of supplies and coordinate orders as necessary
- Work collaboratively with the property management team to ensure a high standard of living for residents
- Grounds work, snow-shoveling, and general support to the team
Schedule: 1st shift, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, weekends to complete snow removal during the winter
Pay: $17.00/hr + $40 weekly gas stipend upon hire-in
Apartment Maintenance Qualifications:
- 1-3 Years of experience in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction or a similar role
- Ability to use power tools and basic tools
- Must have your own vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a basic set of hand tools
- Willingness to work outdoors and indoors and in all kinds of weather conditions
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently
