Customer Service Representative Summary
A well-established company located in the Grand Rapids area is looking to add a skilled and dedicated Customer Service Representative to their team. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think outside the box. In this role, you will support the team by providing product and sales assistance, ensuring exceptional customer service, and promoting growth through superior customer interactions.
Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls promptly, providing information on product inquiries and custom options

Process orders, log new orders, and follow up on order statuses, including late orders and changes

Generate customer quotes for standard and custom products, ensuring accurate details

Address warranty and damage complaints, resolve freight claims, and manage customer communications

Maintain the customer database and update as needed based on calls, emails, and rep interactions

Develop and maintain product knowledge of the full catalog, including custom stain-to-match processes

Communicate order-related information to customers and other departments in a timely manner
Schedule & Pay:
- 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
- $19.00/HR
Customer Service Representative Qualifications

2+ years of customer service experience

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks

Self-motivated with the ability to influence customer satisfaction

Exhibits adaptability to changing business requirements

Knowledgeable in using office technology and software systems

Must be a team player with a service-oriented approach
