A premier Lumber Distribution Facility in the Chelsea area is searching for entry level general labor candidates to fill openings for Lumber Technician positions. These candidates will be trained to process and inspect lumber. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
Positions for 1st shift available:
- 1st shift schedule- 5:30am - 4:30pm Monday- Thursday, & Friday - 5:30am - 2:00pm.
Must have weekend availability in case to work Saturday due to production load.
Lumber Technician/General Labor Job Duties:
This general labor position involves lumber processing through inspection, sorting, repetitive lifting and shifting of material/lumber. Some data entry on tablets is necessary.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Work well in a fast paced environment.
- Have dexterity to visualize length and width variations without use of a ruler.
- Be able to remain standing for long periods of time.
- Ability and willingness to learn a new skill set!
