Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals in Howell/Brighton is looking for Order Picker candidates who can pick customer orders for shipment for a liquid filling and bottling company in the Brighton area.
This position is not on the bus line. Requires own transportation.
1st shift: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday with overtime as needed Saturday’s. At the last week of every month, you will have to be comfortable working 10–12-hour shifts.
Pay -$15.00/hr
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders
- Unload and inspect all incoming materials and packages
- Sort, label, and stock received items in designated storage areas
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to customer specifications
- Operation of electric pallet jack
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Accurate data input in computer system
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Excellent math skills with the ability to add, subtract & multiply
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
