Job Full Description
Express Employment Brighton/Howell is assisting a client in Howell, MI for more skilled Progressive Die Operators on 2nd shift. This position is a contract to hire through the staffing agency. On contract, we offer medical benefits, holiday pay if you meet the requirements, and sick time.
This position operates a range of machines like press, welder, staking, saw, etc. Must perform hand operations like sorting, reworking, and packaging. Know & conform to all Quality Management System manufacturing requirements.
NOT BUS LINE FRIENDLY, REQUIRES OWN TRANSPORTATION. ALSO NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION.
Pay rate: $17.00
Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm (must be available to work late until 1am). Monday to Friday, with Saturday need for overtime.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Be able to lift to up 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast pace environment.
- Be a team player and assign in other tasks if & when needed.
- Wear proper PPE equipment - safety glasses, steel toed boots, gloves, ear plugs, etc.
- Keep work station neat & clean.
- Reliable with good prior attendance.
- Must have prior machine operating experience or equivalent for more than 3+ years.
- Familiarity with ISO9001 or TS 16949 (or equivalent)
- Comfortable working around oils, data entry, and follow basic instructions.
