Express is looking for an experienced Equipment Cleaner in the Kalamazoo area!
Pay Range:
- $18-$20/hr with overtime opportunities.
- Starting salaries may vary depending on relevant experience, qualifications, and education
Position Type: 2nd shift, Full-Time, Direct Hire
Job Duties:
- Operate cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners, parts washers, and sandblasters
- Clean internal and external motor parts, including frames, cores, armatures, gears, and housings.
- Paint repaired motors before shipment to customers
- Participate in daily operational discussions regarding customer products
- Adhere to safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
Qualifications:
- Experience with AC/DC motors is preferred
- Ability to follow procedures and fill out necessary documentation accurately
- Proficient in the safe operation of hand tools
- Capability to understand and apply job-related training, operational, and safety procedures.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for extended periods
- Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying items up to 50 lbs
