The Company:
We have partnered with a local apartment community located in Oakland County.
Summary:
We are looking for an Assistant Community Manager. Previous experience in property management. Tax Credit, Section 8 and HUD knowledge. Ability to obtain Real Estate Salesperson License (paid for by the company).
Qualifications:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the apartment community, ensuring all aspects are running smoothly
- Handle rent collection and follow-up on overdue payments
- Market and advertise vacant units to attract new tenants
- Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents
- Maintain a positive attitude and create a welcoming community environment
- Perform general administrative duties, including clerical work
- Manage various office tasks, including data entry, filing, and organizing documents
- Ensure property compliance with Tax Credit, Section 8, and HUD regulations
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage tenant relations
- Marketing and closing skills to help lease vacant units
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Clerical work with some light physical requirements (e.g., filing, walking the property)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
