Job Full Description
Express is seeking experienced CNC Operators to join our team at our client's climate controlled facility in Shelby Township, MI. The ideal candidates will have experience ranging from working in a manufacturing facility as an entry level machine operator to experience performing CNC tool changes and offsets. These roles offer on-the-job training and career paths for advancement. Additional benefits include:

We are hiring for 2nd and 3rd shifts:
- 2ND: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- 3RD: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Job Duties:
- Startup machines (lathe, mill, etc.) to run a production cycle
- Monitor machine operations and quality check parts to ensure products meet quality standards
- Perform basic maintenance on machines as needed (adding lubricant and coolant)
- Maintain chip hopper
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications
- Quality checks using precision measuring tools
- Tool and insert changes
- Offsets and edits
Requirements:
- 1 year or more experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes
- Stable work history with reliable attendance
- Desire to learn new skills
- Ability to learn and retain new information
- Ability to follow work orders and processes without deviation
- Time management skills
- Machine operating experience
- CNC Operating experience preferred
- Ability to use gauges, micrometers and calipers
