Job Posting: Escort Driver – Wide Load Support

Location: Romulus, MI
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Pay Rate: Based on interview and qualifications $18-$22

We are seeking a reliable Escort Driver to support the safe transport of oversized loads on highways. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and maintaining road safety.

Responsibilities:

• Operate an escort vehicle in front of or behind wide-load transport trucks.
• Communicate with truck drivers and other escort drivers via radio.
• Monitor road conditions and potential hazards.
• Assist in directing traffic when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal escort driving regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid Chauffeur’s License (Required) with clean driving record
• Prior driving experience (Preferred experience in escort driving or similar roles)
• Ability to stay alert and focused during extended driving shifts
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with drivers and transportation teams
• Knowledge of highway safety and escort vehicle protocols is a plus
