Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals in Albertville is looking for a 1st shift Punch Press Operator. to work in the Maple Lake area. This is a first shift position working Monday-Thursday 6:00pm - 4:30pm. Pay is $20-$25/hr. Enjoy a 3 day weekend! Onsite basketball court & workout facility!
Duties:
- Set up and operate a CNC press machine to manufacture metal parts according to blueprints and work orders
- Follow all departmental and company safety rules and procedures
- Receive instructions, material requirements, prints, routings, and work orders for the job
- Perform machine set-up, including tool assembly
- Install tooling into the press, secured by means of clamps, wedges, and bolts
- Check tool alignment prior to operation
- Perform routine maintenance
- Make adjustments to the machine to bring the part within tolerances
- Perform periodic part inspection per job instructions
- Perform first piece inspection using one or more of the following: a combination square, protractor, calipers, micrometers, or tape measure to assure bends, angles, and dimensions are correct and within given tolerances
- Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition
