Job Full Description
Express Employment is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle daily property maintenance at assigned locations near Aurora, MN. You will ensure high living standards for affordable housing communities, working closely with property management to keep properties in top condition and compliant with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work Orders: Prioritize and address maintenance requests, especially urgent issues.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and repairs.
- Turnover Maintenance: Prepare vacated units by repairing/replacing appliances, flooring, drywall, doors, etc.
- Plumbing: Handle minor plumbing repairs (valves, pipes, drains, water heaters).
- HVAC: Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on HVAC systems.
- Property Grounds: Maintain external areas.
- Emergency Response: Address on-call and weather-related issues as needed.
Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and customer service skills.
- 1+ year in apartment maintenance or technical field.
- Able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Certifications (Preferred): OSHA, EPA, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical.
