Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently assisting an industry leading Edina manufacturer in their search for a Press Machine Operator. As a Press Machine Operator you will be operating various production machines that assembling and packaging products according to specifications within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities for this Press Machine Operator job include:
- Set up and operate machines for runs
- Clean work area
- Load and unload products from machines once completed
- Verify accuracy of machine/motor settings
- Operate press machine and perform set-up
- Accurately issue material. Record actual material quantity used in production
- Seek opportunities to increase part yield from materials
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have good math skills
- Must be able to understand English and communicate well with others
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Previous machine operating experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed
- Must pass drug and background test
Schedule:
- 1st shift Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 3:30pm, Friday 6:00 am - 10:00am
