Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently assisting an industry leading medical device manufacturer in their search to fill a Production Technician job in Eden Prairie, MN. As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for using a variety of test equipment such as multimeters, high voltage testers and automated test systems to verify that circuits are electrically functional and perform according to customer’s requirements. What's an average day like for a Production Technician?
- Building electromechanical chassis, computer, display, and other electrical pad components
- Soldering components together according to specifications
- Test electrical panels using a variety of equipment to ensure functionality
- Troubleshoot equipment when necessary
- Move work orders within computer software
- Maintain cleanliness of the area
- Perform other duties as assigned
What do we look for in a Production Technician?
- Previous soldering experience required
- Able to read, interpret and follow customer and IPC specifications
- Very strong attention to detail
- Computer efficiency
- Must successfully complete position specific training and pass the applicable written test
- High School Degree/GED required
Work Schedule:
- 1st shift: 7:00 am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday
