Line Cook – Hours: 6:00 pm-3:00 am – 1 years’ experience REQUIRD- Pay:$19.00/Hour
Express Employment has partnered with a company in Columbus, MN that is hiring a skilled Line Cook to join their dynamic culinary team for the 6pm-3am shift. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong commitment to quality. This role involves preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to ensure the efficient production of high-quality meals for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and presented attractively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet service targets and deadlines.
- Perform routine kitchen maintenance and cleaning tasks.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and marinating.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a line cook in a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques and food safety practices.
- Ability to read and follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the 6pm-3am shift, including weekends and holidays.
- Pay: $19/HR
