Production Specialist

Overview

This is a dual-purpose position designed for candidates who excel in a hands-on manufacturing environment and aspire to advance into a technical career. As a Production Specialist, you will not only support day-to-day production operations but also participate in an intensive training program that will prepare you for a future role as a technician.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare materials for production, including basic assembly, quality control, parts cleaning and maintenance. 
• Support shop operations through organization, documentation and packaging activities
• Accurately document job information using both digital system and paper documentation. 
• Ensure a clean and organized  warehouse environment.  
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals. 

We're seeking someone who has: 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16 of an inch. 
• Ability to convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals. 
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Basic computer skills for inventory management
• A Proactive and team-oriented mindset

A typical day on the job includes:

• Independently working on orders 
• Accurately measuring materials 
• Inventory management in the form of organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse
• Logging and recording entries in the companies software database. 
• Striving to hit daily operational targets and celebrating the wins.
