Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Turret Operator with experience in set up and operation within the metal manufacturing industry. As a Turret Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating turret machines, ensuring high-precision cuts and bends of metal parts, and contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the production process.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with turret punching machines, a deep understanding of CNC programming and set-up, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:

- Set up turret punching machines for production runs based on work orders and blueprints.
- Load and unload metal sheets of varying sizes and thicknesses into the machine.
- Ensure machine settings (tooling, material, speed, and alignment) are adjusted properly before production begins.
- Operate the turret machine to perform punching, shearing, and other metal forming tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of turret machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Replace tooling, reconfigure setups, and maintain equipment as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Identify and address any issues that may cause downtime or impact production quality.
- Monitor and inspect produced parts to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
- Work closely with quality control teams to identify and address defects or discrepancies.
- Record and report production data, including quantities, material usage, and machine settings.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2 years of Set Up experience on Turret Machines
- Strong ability to work independently
- 2+ years in a metal manufacturing or machine shop environment
