Job Full Description
We’re seeking candidates to fill a Block Assembly position with a well-respected and quickly growing company located in Red Wing, MN. This role will be assembling metal safety blocks, either partially or completely, positioning parts according to knowledge of unit or following blueprints, fastening parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets or other fasteners, and removing small quantities of metal with hand files and scraper to produce a close fit between the parts. Desirable candidates should be able to read blue prints and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. - Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs. on a medium-consistent basis
- High school diploma or GED required
- Pay Rate: $26.13 per hour
- Sunday-Thursday: 11:00pm to 7:00am
