MIG Welder
Rochester, MN
2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday 4:00pm – 2:30am
with Overtime on Fridays
Pay: $22/hour based on experience
Our client is seeking a highly-skilled MIG Welder in Rochester, MN. You will have the opportunity to help weld various types of metal including aluminum and stainless steel per customer's prints.
Job Duties
- Assembling and welding various metal parts together
- Adjusting weld current to proper weld size and penetration
- Welding components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions.
- Setting up components for welding according to specifications
- Repairing machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
- Maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
Requirements
- Have a steady hand
- Have an eye for details
- Repeated lifting of 50lbs, standing, bending, twisting repeatedly.
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing
