Job Summary: Pick and Pack Warehouse Associate
Part-Time (20-25 Hours per Week)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pick-and-Pack Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that orders are fulfilled efficiently and correctly to meet customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Order Picking: Accurately pick products from designated locations based on customer orders using pick lists or handheld scanning devices.
• Packing: Carefully pack products into boxes or containers, ensuring that items are secure and well-protected during transit.
• Labeling: Label boxes and packages with the correct shipping information and ensure all necessary documentation is included.
• Inventory Management: Assist in tracking inventory levels and report discrepancies to supervisors. Receiving inventory and moving it to its desired location.
• Quality Control: Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before shipping.
• Shipping: Prepare and organize orders for shipment, including sealing packages and arranging them for courier pickup or delivery.
• Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
• Basic computer skills for using warehouse management systems or scanning devices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
• The warehouse environment may include exposure to varying temperatures, depending on the season.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required, such as gloves, safety shoes, or vests.
