Now hiring- Detailer/Drafter for great local company!
Our client is a leader in the design and construction of innovative steel-framed tensioned fabric structures. They pride themselves in commitment to quality and precision, and they''re looking for a talented Detailer/Drafter to join their dynamic team.
Position Overview:
Best candidate will be experienced Detailer/Drafter who will be responsible for modeling and developing detailed drawings for the construction of many structures. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using AutoCAD and Tekla Structures, and possess strong communication skills along with an exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models of steel-framed tensioned fabric structures using AutoCAD and Tekla Structures.
- Prepare comprehensive detailed drawings for construction purposes.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure designs meet specifications and project requirements.
- Review and modify designs based on feedback and site conditions.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and detail in all drawings and models.
- Stay updated with industry standards and advancements in construction techniques related to steel and fabric structures.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Tekla Structures.
- AAS Degree in Drafting/Detailer or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in 3D modeling and detailing for construction projects.
- Knowledge of the construction and steel industry preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
