Truck Technician
St. Cloud, MN
If you love working on trucks, have your own tools and have a passion for building them from the ground up, then this is the perfect job for you!
Work Schedule and Benefits:
- Enjoy a 3-day weekend with 4 ten-hour shifts
- Full-time evaluation hire positions available, as well as full-time shorter contracts
- Work hours are Monday to Thursday between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM
- Competitive pay starting at $20.00+ per hour, depending on experience
- Opportunities for learning a new product line, boot discounts, and possible advancement within the company
- 4 bays equipped with A/C for added comfort
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding, fabricating, and hydraulic work on trucks
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical parts such as engines, wheels, accelerators, and brakes
- Utilize specialized instruments and tools to diagnose problems and complete repairs
- Maintain a proper uniform and attitude while on the job
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with drill presses, plasma cutters, MIG, and Stick welding
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and display good physical and mental stamina
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of multitasking
Certifications and Training:
- Completion of certified online training is expected, with a bonus plan in place to reward achievement
