Sleeving Line Operator  

 

Express Employment Professionals – St. Paul, MN is assisting a small beverage company to fill a Sleeving line operator on their team. Position is located in the St Paul area.

 

Pay: $26 – 30/hour DOE

Schedule:   1st Shift Monday – Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (must have flexibility with start and end times during busy times)

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:  Below is a list of essential duties of this position.  Other duties may be assigned as needed.

 

  1. Safely and efficiently operate the boiler per the seasonal demands of production.
  2. To maintain the boiler and assist with tear down for inspections.
  3. Safely and efficiently operate pumps, valves, and tanks to mix ingredients and blend liquid feed based on company formulas and established operational procedures.
  4. Test all finished products and inbound ingredients to ensure they meet quality standards. Review finished products for formulary and weight accuracy as well as for label and tag accuracy. 
  5. Load and unload bulk liquid trucks and railcars.
  6. Organize, schedule, prepare, and set up machines to carryout the production. Use equipment such as tools, valves, pumps, forklifts, and the boiler in compliance with manufacturer recommendations, government regulations and company policy.
  7. Maintain an accurate inventory of all raw ingredients.
  8. Ensure that all equipment is operating correctly. Calibrate equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed.  Report equipment safety hazards and malfunctions.
  9. Accurately and in compliance with regulations, complete all paperwork.
  10. Ensure all activities are handled within company and state/federal policies, practices, regulations, and laws.
  11. Keep work area tidy and clean.  
  12. Attend training seminars and pass required tests for HSE / Operations related criteria.
  13. Interact and communicate with clients and co-workers in a professional and appropriate manner and respond to and give feedback in a respectful and positive manner.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of all corporate, personnel and research matters.
  15. Take the initiative to identify problems, use judgment to find appropriate solutions and follow through on resolving issues in a timely manner.
  16. Support team efforts, actively work to generate respect and enthusiasm, cooperate with others, and actively learn from other team members.
  17. Report to work on time prepared to perform the duties of the position and willing to perform the duties as workload necessitates.
  18. Employee shall comply with applicable regulatory and company health, safety, environmental, and security requirements. Employee is expected to complete required training in a timely manner; perform duties in a safe and environmentally sound manner; and immediately report injuries/illnesses, environmental spills/releases, and any unsafe acts or conditions to supervision in support of continual improvement of the company''s health, safety, environmental, and security performance.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/LICENSES:

High school degree or G.E.D.

Current Boiler License issued by the State of Minnesota
