Mon - Friday - 1st shift 7AM - 3:30PM
Position- General labor
Pay Rate- $18
Definition: "Core”. A round closed end steel tube of varying diameters and lengths.
Job Description:
- Utilizing a crane and hoist, set a core from supply rack onto work station.
- Inspect core for cracks and dents.
- Follow established guidelines for inspection procedures.
- Inspect for weld damage on each end of the core.
- Inspect the receiver for damage on each end of the core.
- Scrap or reject unrepairable cores per guidelines prior to scraping.
- Utilizing a 4-inch razor scraping tool, remove all foreign materials and adhesives from the core surface.
- Upon completion of the cleaning process, using the crane and hoist, move the cleaned core to a receiving rack. Cleaned cores will be set aside and used in the next steps of the repair process.
