Job Title: Insurance Customer Representative (Hmong Community Liaison)
This is a Direct Hire Opportunity
Working Hours:
- Full-time, 40-hour work week.
- Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexible scheduling options available (e.g., 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:15 AM–5:15 PM) to accommodate personal needs.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $30,000 to $35,000 per year.
- Bonuses: Performance-based bonus structure tied to new customer acquisition.
- Profit Sharing: 3% matching profit sharing program.
- Time Off: 2 weeks of vacation per year plus additional sick days.
- Note: Health coverage is not provided.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, customer-focused Insurance Customer Representative to help both current and potential customers understand their insurance and financial needs. In this role, you will educate customers on their coverage options, assist with policy administration, and serve as the primary liaison to the Hmong community. Comprehensive in-office training is provided, and you will receive state licensing (with all associated costs covered) to practice in Minnesota.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Education:
- Explain insurance policies and coverage options to help customers make informed decisions about their financial protection.
- Policy Administration:
- Process customer payments.
- Assist with policy changes, such as updating vehicle information, adjusting deductibles, and replacing policies as needed.
- Help customers file insurance claims.
- Sales Support:
- Identify and contact potential customers to provide insurance quotes that may offer better coverage or savings.
- Explain insurance products in a consultative manner (training provided), rather than using hard-core sales tactics.
- Community Liaison:
- Serve as the main point of contact for the Hmong community, ensuring culturally sensitive communication and service.
Qualifications:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine desire to help customers understand insurance and protect their financial well-being.
- Basic administrative skills with attention to detail.
- (Preferred) Bilingual in Hmong and English to effectively serve our community.
- Willingness to complete the required training and obtain Minnesota state licensing (all training and testing costs are covered by the company).
