POSITION DESCRIPTION: Administrative Assistant
SUMMARY: Coordinates daily activities that ensure organizational success. Assists with daily needs of Program faculty and students.
DUTIES:
- Implements and maintains accreditation standards that affect the program.
- Maintains appropriate records for the school.
- Assists Program Director with Accreditation reports as needed.
- Oversees Nursing CAS applications and performs yearly updates.
- Maintains correspondence with potential program applicants.
- Prepares and organizes application files.
- Maintains and updates Website.
- Maintains and updates social media.
- Assists Associate Directors in tracking and coordinating student professional service requirements.
- Acts as a liaison between students and program.
- Acts as a liaison with administrative staff at Academic partner.
- Organizes budgetary data including but not limited to payments in and out, invoices, yearly audit, etc.
- Arranges program event itineraries such as graduation, orientation day, and care plan presentations.
- Reconciles credit card.
- Maintains meeting minutes for all Board and required committees.
- Organizes and maintains Teams and Dropbox accounts.
- Orders new supplies and equipment.
- Maintain email correspondence with current and past students, university, and prospective students.
- Coordinates and prepares student photos including new cohort and graduation.
- Prepares documents for Transcript review.
- Additional duties as defined by the Program Director.
EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Exceptional skills with Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Learning Time: One year to learn all facets of the position.
- Prior Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Job Complexity: Judgment required in assessing and setting work priorities.
- Job Responsibility: Responsible for following and implementing the directives of the Program Director. Implements accreditation standards that affect the program.
- Continuing Education Requirements: None.
- Professional Contact: Contact with the public, governmental agencies, health care groups, and professional associations is required. This requires tact, discretion, judgment, and understanding of human relations. Must be knowledgeable of environmental issues that may influence the program and nurse anesthesia practice.
- Dress code: Professional dress and demeanor appropriate to the position is expected.
