Job Title: Machine Operator – Kluge Die Cutter (1st Shift)
Location: Minneapolis
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $23 – $28/hour (DOE)
Company Overview:
We are a growing print finishing and packaging company known for our quality craftsmanship and commitment to customer satisfaction. We’re currently looking for an experienced Machine Operator to run a Kluge Die Cutter and support a variety of finishing operations including foil stamping, embossing, die cutting, and folder gluing.
Position Summary:
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Kluge equipment and ensuring high-quality finishing of printed materials. The ideal candidate has experience in specialty print finishing and takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Kluge die cutting equipment for foil stamping, embossing, and die cutting
- Operate folder gluers to complete finishing processes as needed
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production run and make adjustments as necessary
- Maintain accurate production records and follow work order specifications
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience operating Kluge equipment or similar finishing machines
- Working knowledge of foil stamping, embossing, die cutting, and folder gluing processes
- Ability to read and follow detailed job specifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and eye for quality
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
