Express Employment Professionals in Woodbury is looking for someone that can train to be a Set-Up Technician for a plastic manufacturer in the East Metro!!

 

 

 

Shift: 2nd shift - 3pm - 11pm Monday - Friday

 

Pay: $20.06 to start with potential for $1 raise within first few months

 

Set-Up Technician Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

 

• Language Skills: Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• Tools and Equipment: Having his own tools would be beneficial but not required.
• Previous machine operating experience is a must and plastic mold or injection mold experience is highly preferred!!
• Previous set-up experience is preferred

• Need to have some mechanical abilities and know how to use wrenches and tools and troubleshoot machines.

Set-up Technicians will start as a machine operator and will move into Set-Up Technician role if attendance and performance measure are being met. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN as a Set-up Technician:

• How we pull and set molds in preparation for production runs.
• How to set up molds, machines and ancillary equipment to achieve optimum operating efficiencies.
• How to inspect and monitor processes, including water temperatures and flow rates, machine parameters and material properties.
