Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAM CNC Machinist to join our team. The CAM CNC Machinist will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines using PowerMill software to produce precision components. This role requires technical expertise, precision, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines using PowerMill software to produce precision components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to create accurate machining instructions.
- Perform machine setups, including tooling changes and adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal operation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment according to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in CNC machining is a plus.
- Previous experience in CNC machining and programming, particularly with PowerMill software, is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
