Express Employment Professionals in Woodbury, MN is Hiring for an experienced Laser Operator for a great Company in the East Metro Area!
Pay: $21.25 per hour
Schedule:
- 2nd shift: 3pm to 11pm Monday - Friday
- Must have previous laser or CNC experience
- Drug screen needed before start
The Laser Operator performs duties necessary to cut material according to customer specifications using laser table equipment. In addition to preparing orders, the Laser Table Operator is responsible for the proper set up, communication with proceeding shifts, clearing parts, packaging and monitoring equipment.
Laser Operator Duties:
- Load equipment with raw material using the overhead crane and/or forklift in order to prepare the equipment for accurate cut.
- Prepare equipment to cut material by downloading the proper program to the computer.
- Measure material before/after cutting to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Accurately compete inspection reports after inspecting and measuring material.
- Unload the table and packages parts per order.
- Perform preventative maintenance as needed.
Laser Operator Skills & Experience Required:
- Looking for someone with 1 year of laser table work experience
- Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers), and can read and understand blueprints.
- 1+ years experience working with steel
