Job Description:
As a Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial records and ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions. You will work closely with our accounting team to maintain financial accuracy and support various accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Financial Transactions: Process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely manner.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting principles.
- Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks and update financial spreadsheets and databases.
- Customer and Vendor Interaction: Communicate with clients and vendors regarding financial matters and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, including filing and organizing financial documents.
