Position Overview:
As a Member Experience Associate (MEA), you will play a key role in ensuring that every member interaction reflects the values and commitment of [Credit Union Name]. You will provide exceptional service, assist members with their account needs, and support various credit union products and services, contributing to an overall positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist members in person, over the phone, or via digital platforms, ensuring a high level of customer service.
Answer questions regarding account balances, transactions, loan applications, and other credit union services.
Open new accounts, assist with deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Resolve member inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care, ensuring timely follow-up.
Promote credit union products and services, offering solutions that meet members' financial needs.
Educate members about online banking, mobile apps, and other digital services available.
Maintain and update member account records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Support branch operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Assist in training and mentoring new staff members.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher preferred).
Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a financial institution.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Basic knowledge of banking products, services, and financial operations.
Ability to problem-solve and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with banking software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
