Job Full Description
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including lighting, wiring, outlets, and electrical panels.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, ensuring all systems are functioning properly and safely.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes.
Test electrical systems and components using appropriate equipment.
Install and maintain electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, and circuit breakers.
Supervise and mentor apprentices and junior electricians as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and best practices.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to meet project deadlines.
Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
Participate in ongoing professional development and certification programs.
Qualifications:
Journeyman or First Class Electrician License (required).
Minimum of [X] years of experience as a commercial electrician.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
Experience with commercial electrical installations, including lighting, power distribution, and low-voltage systems.
