Job Full Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Answer incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate team member, and take messages as needed.
  • Assist clients with general inquiries related to their insurance policies and coverage.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings for agents and staff.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient front office, including managing office supplies.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Perform basic clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
  • Assist with processing insurance claims and policy changes as needed.
  • Manage client accounts and update information in the agency’s database.
  • Ensure that all confidential client information is handled according to industry regulations and standards.
  • Provide support to insurance agents and other team members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in an insurance agency (required).
  • Knowledge of insurance terminology, policies, and processes (preferred).
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office equipment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the insurance industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); insurance-related certifications or education is a plus.
